Dating to 1882, this Victorian double-ended scent bottle features a long faceted deep purple glass body fitted with ornate silver end mounts. Each end is richly decorated with scrolling foliate engraving, creating a detailed contrast against the geometric, jewel-toned body. One end incorporates a hinged cap while the opposite end unscrews, reflecting the dual-compartment construction characteristic of double-ended scent bottles. The silver components tested approximately 88–90% Ag, with the cap also giving a low-karat gold test result.
