Reeded gold batons crossed by rows of rubies give these vintage Tiffany & Co. cufflinks a crisp geometric composition. Each cylindrical face is encircled at its center by a channel-set row of square step cut rubies, together totaling 0.64ctw. The closely fitted gemstones form a continuous band of pink-red color, contrasting with the warm 14k yellow gold. Parallel reeds run along the batons, creating alternating highlights and shadows that emphasize their rounded contours. Open supports connect the decorative fronts to elongated polished push bar fittings, each finished with a pointed terminal at one end.
