Vintage 14k White Gold Jadeite and Diamond Halo Cocktail Ring

An 8.8ct oval green jadeite cabochon forms the centerpiece of this vintage cocktail ring, its domed surface displaying deeper green mottling against a pale green body. Eighteen round brilliant cut diamonds totaling 1.44ctw surround the jadeite, contrasting their faceted sparkle with the smooth cabochon. Rounded prongs give the halo a scalloped outline, while an elevated open basket gallery reveals the underside of the center stone. A polished knife edge shank tapers toward the shoulders, complementing the substantial oval setting. The interior bears “18k” and “184” markings; the metal is tested as 14k white gold.
