Mikimoto 18k Yellow Gold 8mm Akoya Pearl Necklace

A single strand of 8mm Akoya cultured pearls is finished with an ornate 18k yellow gold clasp in this Mikimoto necklace. The pearls’ rounded forms and luminous white surfaces create a continuous composition, with individual knots separating them along the strand. Paired scrolling motifs decorate the clasp, combining pierced openings, fine textured lines, and delicate rope borders around a small central pearl. The warm gold provides a decorative counterpoint to the pearls, while the Mikimoto maker’s mark and 750 stamp appear on the reverse.
