Frosted rock crystal quartz beads are framed by petal-like gold caps in this vintage 18k yellow gold necklace. Averaging 14.5mm, the beads have softly translucent surfaces that contrast with the bright, polished metalwork. Open filigree caps cup both ends of each bead, their elongated loops following the rounded contours while leaving a broad band of crystal exposed around the center. Fine parallel ridges define the gold loops, adding texture to the repeating floral pattern. Small gold spacers separate the capped beads, and a curved hook-and-ring clasp completes the strand.
