Round lapis lazuli cabochons are encircled by undulating gold ribbons in these vintage 14k yellow gold stud earrings. Measuring 12mm each, the domed stones display rich blue tones with scattered gold-toned flecks of pyrite. Narrow bezels frame the lapis, while curved ribbon sections alternate with small gold beads around the outer borders. Open spaces separate the bezels from the decorative surrounds, giving the circular compositions an airy outline. The reverse features an open framework with a gold crossbar supporting each friction post, fitted with butterfly backs.
