Vintage 18k White Gold Mixed Sapphires and Diamond Floral Bouquet Brooch

Three sapphire blossoms spread across sweeping stems and pointed leaves in this vintage 18k white gold bouquet brooch. Blue sapphire clusters form the flower centers, surrounded by pink sapphire petals in marquise, oval, and triangular shapes that give each blossom a distinct outline. An orange sapphire bud and green sapphire sprays extend between the flowers, contributing to the composition’s 19.12ctw of mixed cut sapphires. Pavé-set round brilliant cut diamonds totaling 1.67ctw trace curling leaves and ribbon-like elements, contrasting with the polished gunmetal gray, hematite-style finish on the neighboring gold surfaces. A wrapped gold detail gathers the stems, while overlapping elements and open spaces give the asymmetrical arrangement depth. Open-backed gemstone settings follow the floral contours on the reverse, and a long hinged pin with a locking catch secures the brooch.
