Two strands of near-round cultured pearls meet at a dimensional floral clasp in this vintage 14k white gold necklace. Averaging 7.5mm, the pearls have a light orange hue, with individual knots separating their softly varied forms and allowing the strands to drape in parallel curves. A 7.2mm cultured pearl rises at the center of the clasp, encircled by single cut diamonds and an outer tier of pointed diamond-set petals. Fine beaded borders define the petals, while pierced sides and a scrolling openwork reverse give the clasp depth and detail from multiple angles. A concealed tongue fastening with a folding safety catch secures the two strands, completing the 17" necklace.
