Mikimoto 18k Yellow Gold Pearl Cluster Ring

A closely gathered cluster of white cultured pearls fills the elongated face of this Mikimoto 18k yellow gold ring. Ranging from 3–4.4mm, the round pearls are arranged in staggered rows, with larger pearls rising above smaller surrounding examples to create a softly domed composition. Sweeping gold borders enclose the cluster, their curved outlines contrasting with the repeated spherical forms. Small openings between the pearls reveal the supporting gold framework, while a pierced underside gives the mounting an airy construction. The shoulders divide into open loops that continue the flowing lines of the surround, balancing the pearl cluster’s volume with areas of open space.
