Antique Victorian Silver Topped Gold Burmese No Heat Ruby Two-Stone Ring GIA

$5,995.00
Two antique mixed cut rubies sit side by side within adjoining scalloped surrounds in this Victorian silver-topped gold ring. Weighing 1.72ct and 1.49ct, the rubies display broad facets and softly rounded outlines, each secured by four rose gold prongs. Round faceted colorless stones trace both halos and fill the space between them, creating a continuous figure-eight composition around the rich pink-red centers. The silver settings provide a cool contrast to the rubies, while 8k rose gold forms the supporting gallery and shoulders. Open backs reveal the ruby pavilions, and pierced shoulder details lend lightness to the raised mounting. GIA Ruby Origin Reports #2235990968 and #2231990919 identify the respective rubies as natural, of Burmese (Myanmar) origin, with no indications of heating.
