Vintage 9k Yellow Gold Pearl Etruscan Revival Chandelier Earrings

Spiral gold scrolls and bead accents form the openwork tops of these Victorian Etruscan Revival chandelier earrings. Beneath each top hangs a rounded gold element decorated with green oval enamel panels within twisted wire borders. Three slender gold links suspend elongated keshi pearl beads, each finished with a fluted gold cap, with the central pearl hanging slightly lower than those at either side. The pearls’ irregular contours and softly lustrous surfaces contrast with the ordered scrollwork above. The coiled wire ornament and bead details reflect the ancient-inspired goldwork associated with Etruscan Revival jewelry. Long curved ear wires complete the articulated 9k yellow gold design.
