The stone’s smooth surfaces and beveled edges emphasize the straight arms and longer lower section. Gold caps finish all four terminals, while crossed, ridged gold bands wrap around the central intersection. This restrained mounting leaves much of the jadeite exposed, highlighting its green color and subtle tonal variation. A tapered gold bail connects through a small circular ring, allowing the cross to move independently when suspended from a chain.
