Six opal cabochons totaling approximately 1.6ctw define this vintage cross pendant, their milky bodies displaying flashes of green, blue, orange, and pink. A round cabochon marks the center, with five oval cabochons arranged along the arms and elongated lower section. Individual gold claws secure the stones, allowing their rounded surfaces to rise above the 13k yellow gold framework. Paired openwork scrolls and pointed foliate terminals finish each arm, while four small leaf-like accents radiate diagonally from the center. The warm polished gold contrasts with the opals’ soft coloration, giving definition to the ornate cross silhouette. Openings at the reverse reveal the backs of the gemstones, and a concealed suspension bail completes the pendant.
