Approximately 2.43ctw of rose cut diamonds form a dimensional floral cluster in this antique Victorian silver and low carat gold ring. Eight diamonds radiate around a raised central stone, their individually varied outlines lending the arrangement a petal-like character. Broad triangular facets create reflective flashes across the domed crowns, while curved silver borders and small prongs define each setting. The silver top provides a contrasting surface around the diamonds above the warm 7k gold mounting. Viewed from the side, a fluted, basket-like gallery opens beneath the outer stones, giving the cluster height and revealing its layered construction. Sculpted leaf motifs extend along the shoulders, continuing the floral ornament onto the shank.
