Six gently curving, pearl-set rays radiate from a central old European cut diamond, creating a starburst with a flowing, pinwheel-like silhouette. Graduated seed pearls diminish toward the pointed tips, while slender gold spokes alternate between the broader rays, each terminating in a prong-set diamond. The diamonds total 0.67ctw, their broad antique facets contrasting with the softly lustrous pearls and warm yellow gold borders. Celestial motifs enjoyed considerable popularity in Victorian jewelry, and this composition combines that period taste with delicate organic curves.
